Description

Struck from 99.99% pure silver, the 2022 Perth Mint Kangaroo 1oz silver coin’s reverse portrays the classic artistry of a ‘red’ kangaroo encircled by symbolic rays of sunshine.

This bullion coin has an unlimited mintage. Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.

This coin includes an authentication feature on the reverse in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter which is only detectable under a magnifying glass. The authentication feature is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.

Issued in protective acrylic tubes of 25 coins without individual capsules, each tube is sealed with The Perth Mint’s tamper evident security seal.
