The 1987 Australian Nugget 1oz gold coin was the first bullion coin issued in this series by the Perth Mint. When originally introduced, the Nugget series featured images of famous gold nuggets found in Australia. The 1 oz coins had the “Welcome Stranger” nugget, which was the largest alluvial gold nugget ever found.

These coins are in almost mint condition, having come to us still in there original tubes of 10. Own a piece of history with this vintage, EXCELLENT condition gold coin!
