Description
The world of crypto currencies continually evolves with new forms of digital currency being created constantly over the last decade. Satoshi Nakamoto is often cited as the individual of note credited with the development and release of Bitcoin. This individual published a whitepaper in 2008 entitled Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System. While a singular name was attached to the crypto currency, many believe there is no actual Satoshi Nakamoto. Some believe it was an alias for the real developer of Bitcoin, while others suggest that several people came up with Bitcoin together but used a singular name as the person of reference responsible for its creation.
The obverse field of 1 oz Crypto Commemorative Bitcoin Silver Rounds includes a depiction of the popular symbol for Bitcoin. Just as the United States dollar uses a letter S with two vertical lines struck through it, so too does Bitcoin use a singular letter with two vertically-struck lines. Befitting the name of the crypto currency, the Bitcoin symbol uses a B for its letter. The weight, purity, and metal content of the round are also noted on this side.
On the reverse face of the 1 oz Crypto Commemorative Bitcoin Silver Rounds is a design inspired by the first-ever Bitcoin rounds issued back in 2011. The background field reflects computer networking card imagery with a small, square field.
