Description
These magnificent gold coins celebrate the Year of the Tiger, the third of twelve animals associated with the ancient Chinese lunar calendar.
Those born under the sign of the Chinese lunar tiger in 2022, 2010, 1998, 1986, 1974, 1962, 1950 and every 12th preceding year, are said to possess determination, courage, confidence and charm.
Meticulously struck from 99.99% pure gold, the coins are issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
No mintage limit applies to the 10oz, 2oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz, and 1/20oz coins. However, production will close at the end of 2022 when The Perth Mint will declare each coin’s official mintage.
